Compassionate Science

As a child I always wanted to help people. I would help the elderly cross the street, help others at school, feed the needy. I hate seeing people suffer, it really twists my gut to see others unhappy. My mother tells me I'm a very compassionate person and that nobody should change that from me. By watching the Mike Ebeling short film my faith on humanity is restored. Their are people in the world that still care, people that don't like to see suffering in the world. Mike Ebeling saw the photo of Daniel without his hands. He points out how people most likely would view the image of Daniel and would probably  go to bed after. Mike knew that something could be done to wipe out the face of misery Daniel had, and science was the solution. Technology and science are advancing are they can make the world a better place. People fear science and as a mater of fact I do too, but if science is a gateway to help humanity then I don't go against science. Now in days not so many people have compassionate for one another, as of right now scientist are coming out with extraordinary breakthroughs but they only do it for their own personal interest, which I believe is wrong because scientist should have Compassion over their work! That break through that they've just discovered can not only change a life but many.
